ESPN Fantasy Projection: Playing in all 82 games for the first time last season, Laferriere set new career-best marks in goals (21), points (44), shots on goal (209) and average time on ice (18:19). While the secondary offensive numbers were nice, it was Laferriere's massive increase in the hits department which was the biggest shock. He was credited with 255 hits. This was a guy that managed just 237 hits in 158 games over his first two NHL seasons combined. If that number is here to stay, Laferriere is going to have value in leagues which score them. If not, you have nothing more than a fringe late-round fantasy dart throw on your hands.
