ESPN Fantasy Projection: Of all the feats accomplished last season, Stamkos scoring 42 goals in his age-35 season has to be among the most shocking. This is a guy that tallied just 27 times in his first season in Nashville. Not to take anything away from the future Hall of Famer, but Stamkos' 20.4 percent shooting percentage -- the highest of his storied career -- suggests regression is forthcoming. On a more positive note, Stamkos continues to dominate with the man advantage (26 points). He also has durability on his side, having not missed a game since joining the Predators two seasons ago. Asking for a repeat performance is probably a stretch, especially since his assist totals are as low as ever, but 30 goals and 55 points in 2026-27 seems like a fair projection. That would make Stamkos a solid mid-round fantasy asset.
