ESPN Fantasy Projection: Those expecting Bedard to break through in his third NHL season were proven correct. He set new career-best marks in goals (30), assists (45), points (75), and shots on goal (226 in 69 games). The only thing that could slow him down was 13 games missed due to injury. Bedard has racked up 20-plus power-play points in each of his first three campaigns and he will play the entirety of next season at age 21. The only negative in Bedard's profile from a fantasy standpoint is that his plus/minus rating is always awful. He was considerably better in that category last season than the prior two and still finished a minus-18. Ultimately, this is a small price to pay if we get the offensive production we expect from the former 2023 No. 1 overall pick.
