NEW YORK -- Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jared Boll was suspended for four games without pay by the NHL on Thursday for interference against Philadelphia forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare.
Boll was assessed a major penalty for interference and a game misconduct for the blindside hit in the second period of Columbus' 3-2 shootout victory Tuesday night. He's considered a repeat offender under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
The suspension will cost Boll $82,927.
