This year's Six Nations has turned into one of the most remarkable, entertaining and captivating in recent memory. Three teams, France, Scotland and Ireland, head into the final round with a chance of taking the crown.
Meanwhile, England continue to trend in the wrong direction, but the RFU have backed head coach Steve Borthwick after three-straight defeats.
Here are ESPN's power rankings after round four.

1. France
Previous ranking: 1 ![]()
Despite their defeat to Scotland and their grand slam hopes going up in smoke at Murrayfield, it's fair to say France are still the best team in this championship. The game in Edinburgh just shows why the slam is so difficult to win. The response will be interesting and has to be emphatic. They still have a title to defend and will be looking to put on a big score against England next week.

2. Scotland
Previous ranking: 3
What a rollercoaster for Gregor Townsend and co. The head coach was under huge pressure after the opening defeat to Italy with speculation he could depart after the tournament if things didn't improve, but that they did. Scotland finally go into the final round with every chance of winning their first ever Six Nations as well as the Triple Crown, something they haven't done since 1990.

3. Ireland
Previous ranking: 2
Got the job done against Wales and while they can also win the title, there will still be questions for Andy Farrell when it's all said and done. They're also in with a shot of winning the Triple Crown and if they do, you have to say it's a successful campaign for Ireland even if they don't end up as champions, considering the mood around the team after the France defeat.

4. Italy
Previous ranking: 5
What a time for Italian rugby. They can finish the tournament with three wins and knowing they went very close in their defeat to Ireland as well. It's not just the winning, but the way they're playing. Their scrum is relentless but they're now adding to it with attacking flare and above all a fierce determination and never-say-die attitude, which got them over the line in that historic win over England.

5. England
Previous ranking: 4
Where to start for England? It's a campaign that has just progressively gotten worse week-by-week. They look knackered emotionally and physically, devoid of ideas on attack and when Maro Itoje went off in Rome, completely without leadership. The truth is, things are rarely as good or as bad as they seem, but there will need to be some deep soul searching from everyone involved in the set up.

6. Wales
Previous ranking: 6![]()
Slowly but surely, even if the results haven't changed, things are looking up for Wales. They showed promising signs against both Scotland and Ireland, with individuals finally stepping up and taking this team forward. Rhys Carre's try alone will bring some positivity to Cardfiff and beyond. They'll be desperate for a win against an Italy side who will perhaps still be basking in the glory of their win over England too.
