Match Commentary
90' Liverpool came with a game plan and despite more than a couple of scares it worked. A great first half goal and getting men behind the ball frustrated Chelsea on a night when they had possession, chances and the impetus but crucially no end product. Man of the match for me was the much maligned Heskey. Worked tirelessly alone up front and consistently got the better of Terry to offer a way out of pressure for the visitors. Cracking cross to set up Cheyro's goal as well. |
90' Final whistle goes to halt a period of relentless Chelsea pressure. |
90' Same pair tangle again in the box and this time the appeal looks a little better founded but nothing is awarded by the referee once more |
