Fleetwood Town v Crewe
Proctor makes all the difference
Fleetwood substitute Jamie Proctor inspired his side to their first Sky Bet League One victory with an impressive second-half display in a 2-1 win against Crewe. Both sides had chances to snatch a lead before the break, Oliver Turton rattling the woodwork for Crewe before Stephen Dobbie, on his Fleetwood debut, forced a superb reaction save from visiting goalkeeper Scott Shearer.Things livened up in the second half, Billy Waters striking the angle before Fleetwood took the lead.Proctor, on for the injured Dobbie, showed good strength in the box to turn his man and pick out Ball, who spun and rifled a shot past Shearer from close range.Proctor was on hand again eight minutes later, finding space on the left before letting fly from 20 yards - his rocket curling into the top right-hand corner.Crewe were handed a way back when Liam Hogan fouled Brad Inman inside the box, but Matt Tootle's spot kick was too casual and Chris Maxwell saved to preserve Fleetwood's advantage.Crewe pulled one back late on when Liam Hogan conceded his second penalty, bundling over Callum Saunders and Bradden Inman claimed a late consolation.
