Walsall v Leyton Orient
O's unseat Saddlers
Leyton Orient continued their recent improvement with a well deserved 2-0 win over Walsall at the Banks's Stadium.Second-half goals from Ryan Hedges and Chris Dagnall sank the Saddlers, who are now without a victory in four games.Orient took the lead in the 57th minute when Hedges finished of a clever chip from Dagnall with a low drive. And Dagnall helped himself to the second goal three minutes later, firing a neat pass from Hedges into the roof of the net.Woeful Walsall's only chances in the first half were from free-kicks just outside the area. But Andy Taylor, in the fourth minute, and Cook, after 10 minutes, shot straight at goalkeeper Alex Cisak.Orient grew in confidence and could have built a two-goal lead by half-time, but home keeper Richard O'Donnell did well to smother the ball at the feet of Jobi McAnuff, then Dagnall mistimed a header from Andrea Dossena's superb cross.Saddlers substitute Amadou Bakayoko finally tested Cisak in stoppage time but it was too little too late for the home side.
