Championship side Falkirk were dumped out of the Petrofac Training Cup as a single goal from Anthony Marenghi booked Stranraer's place in the semi-finals. The midfielder scored the only goal for the home side five minutes before the interval as Craig Malcolm's pass found him in enough space to fire home from inside the area.
