Newport v Swindon
Obika helps send Robins through
Jonathan Obika was on target again as Swindon reached the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 2-1 win away at Newport.Obika's fifth goal in four games for the Robins set the visitors on their way before Andy Williams added a second.Yan Klukowski's late strike made for a tense finish but Mark Cooper's side progressed to set up a meeting with Plymouth in the next round.Obika got the goal the lifeless game desperately needed after 45 minutes when Williams dug out a cross from the right-hand side of the penalty area and found the former Tottenham man, who headed in from three yards. And things got worse for the hosts when Williams burst clear of the County defence and lobbed over the onrushing Joe Day to seemingly wrap up the tie.But Klukowski had the visiting fans sweating when he tapped in after 82 minutes.Substitute Chris Zebroski battled into the box and delivered a low cross to Aaron O'Connor on the back post. The Exiles hit man could have scored himself but laid it off to Klukowski who could not miss from short range. But Swindon held on through five minutes of stoppage time.
