Morton v Airdrieonians
Replay for 10-man Morton
Joe McKee was sent off for Morton as they held on to draw 0-0 with Airdrie in the Scottish Cup. McKee was sent off less than 20 minutes into the second half after a dangerous tackle on Airdrie's Luca Gasparotto, but the visitors were unable to make their numerical advantage count.Liam Watt nearly fired the visitors into an early lead as Derek Gaston saved his effort from point-blank range. Andy McNeil was then called upon after five minutes to make a double save at the other end. The Airdrie goalkeeper denied Stefan McCluskey before saving Conor Pepper's shot on the rebound. Both sides had good chances before the break as Pepper and James Lister were once again thwarted by McNeil and Gaston respectively. As Morton grew into the game, McKee saw red on 64 minutes and they held on to confirm a replay with the Scottish League One side later this month at the Excelsior Stadium.
