Peterborough v Gillingham
Last-gasp Posh earn draw but Gillingham remain unbeaten
Gillingham continued their unbeaten start to the League One season despite being pegged back by a last-gasp leveller in a 1-1 draw at struggling Peterborough. The Gills had left it late themselves to hit the front at the ABAX Stadium with loan defender Adedeji Oshilaja making a breakthrough with six minutes to go after Bradley Dack's deep delivery had been nodded into his path by Luke Norris. The opener arrived moments after Norris squandered a glorious opportunity of his own when steering a free header against the outside of a post after substitute Doug Loft had headed a Ryan Jackson cross back across the face of goal. But Posh produced a rousing response to snap a three-match losing run. Striker Kyle Vassell thundered a long-range volley against the bar before they snatched a 90th-minute equaliser.Gills keeper Stuart Nelson failed to deal with a low Marcus Maddison cross and Jon Taylor pounced to fire in his first goal of the season. There had also been plenty of incident in the early moments of the game. Nelson denied Taylor inside the opening 30 seconds before opposite number Ben Alnwick brilliantly kept out a glancing header from John Egan.
