Morton extended their unbeaten run to five games as they were held to a 2-2 Ladbrokes Championship draw at Queen of the South.Morton took the lead just six minutes into the contest after a mix-up at the back for the hosts.Stefan McCluskey put pressure on Chris Higgins and the defender over-hit his back-pass past Robbie Thomson and into the back of the net.Queens drew level on the stroke of half-time as Gary Oliver saw his shot blocked but the ball fell to Derek Lyle, who smashed home the equaliser.And the visitors retook the lead 20 minutes into the second half when Denny Johnston latched on to a great ball from McCluskey to tap home from close range.But Queen of the South secured a point to bring their three-game losing run to an end nine minutes from time when Luca Gasparotto headed into his own net.McCluskey nearly won it at the death but saw his shot come back off the post.
