Alavés v Barcelona
Title winners Barcelona upset by lowly Alavés
Ibrahim Diabate's first-half goal made all the difference as LaLiga champions Barcelona suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Alavés at Estadio de Mendizorroza.
Barça sealed a second-straight league crown with a triumph over rivals Real Madrid at the Nou Camp on Sunday.
The final stretch of their title-winning campaign started with a visit to Alavés, where Hansi Flick's side fell behind on the stroke of halftime when Diabate sent the struggling hosts ahead.
Alavés then held on in the second half to clinch three points and results elsewhere saw them move out of the drop zone.
Defeat ends an 11-game league winning run for Barça, who now have two games remaining this season, with a clash against Real Betis before they finish the campaign at Valencia.
Barcelona were welcomed onto the pitch with a guard of honour from the hosts, who threatened from kickoff when Diabate made a great turn to shoot but had his effort blocked.
The title winners then took control as Roony Bardghji hooked his strike wide of the target and Jules Koundé delivered a smart cross into Marcus Rashford, who fired past the post.
Dani Olmo and Rashford looked to threaten for Barça before Toni Martínez saw an attempt for Alaves go wide and Abde Rebbach curled an effort just around the upright.
Rashford's looping cross landed on the roof of the net for the visitors and Nahuel Tenaglia's low strike was held by Wojciech Szczesny.
The hosts then went ahead in the first minute of first-half stoppage-time when Antonio Blanco nodded a corner delivery back in and Diabate stuck his leg out and hooked the ball past Szczesny.
Diabate threatened again straight after the restart when his header bounced into the path of the Barça goalkeeper, who made a comfortable stop.
Rashford's curling cross was punched away by Antonio Sivera and Olmo fired wide as the visitors searched for a response.
Flick made a triple substitution as Xavi Espart, Ferran Torres and Pedri were introduced just after the hour mark and Marc Bernal then blasted wide for the away side.
Jon Guridi's powerful strike hit the woodwork before the flag was raised for offside and Alavés then made some solid defensive stops from a flurry of Barça deliveries.
In the final 10 minutes, Rashford played a neat flicked pass in towards Olmo, but Sivera smothered the ball.
Rashford was unable to nod home from Joao Cancelo's cross and Alavés saw out a nervy final period to claim an important three points in their bid for LaLiga survival.
