Manchester City wrangled the Premier League title race back in their favour on Sunday after an Erling Haaland winner sunk Arsenal at the Etihad.
After a frantic spell in the first half which saw Rayan Cherki score a superb, tricky opener, the visitors got level just 107 seconds later after Kai Havertz robbed Gianluigi Donnarumma as he looked to control a pass from a throw in.
It was Haaland who got his 23rd of the season on the stretch to secure all three points for Pep Guardiola's side -- and they know now they can go top of the league when they take Burnley midweek.
The visitors under Mikel Arteta lost back-to-back Premier League defeats for first time since December 2023, and while their lead at the top is still three points, momentum seems to have swung away from N7.
Here's how it happened.
City headed into this one buoyed and rested -- having last put three past Chelsea on Stamford Bridge on April 12, with Nico O'Reilly, Marc Guéhi and Jérémy Doku providing the goals.
Mikel Arteta's side had last been in action on April 15, as a 0-0 draw at home vs. Sporting Lisbon booked their place in the semifinals of this year's Champions League.
The sides previously met in the Carabao Cup final on March 22, and it was City who ran out winners at Wembley, with O'Reilly in the goals again as he scored a brace.
Erling Haaland came into this one with 22 goals to his name -- and got the better of an Arsenal defence that have shipped the fewest of any team this term.
