Bayern Munich became just the second team to deny Barcelona a win in this year's Women's Champions League after a 1-1 draw in their semifinal first leg.
The last time these two sides met Bayern were demolished 7-1 and when Ewa Pajor scored in the eigth minute, a similar scoreline felt on the cards.
But Bayern responded well and refused to go in their shell. Their pressure bore reward in the second half, when Franziska Kett levelled after a well-worked move.
She was sent off in the 80th minute for a hair-pull on Salma Paralluelo. The Catalan side pushed hard to find a late winner but despite being a player short, Bayern held firm.
