Lionel Messi's Argentina will continue their defence of the FIFA World Cup title as they sealed a late, late 3-1 win over Switzerland in extra-time after a tough quarterfinal played out in Kansas City, and you can relive the action, as it happened, right here.
Lionel Scaloni's side looked to be cruising to victory after Alexis Mac Allister nodded in Messi's corner in the tenth minute. However Dan Ndoye dragged a resurgent Switzerland back into the game with a curled finish from a narrow angle in the 67th minute. However, any hopes of Swiss dominance came to an end when Breel Embolo was sent off after a VAR check saw him receive a second yellow for simulation in the 72nd minute.
Switzerland held off to force extra time, and their organisation with ten men looked all set to result in a penalty shootout, only for Argentina to find late winners. Julián Álvarez curled a stunning shot into the top corner from range in the 112th minute, before Lautaro Martínez put the gloss on the victory with a goal in the 121st minute to make it 3-1 to Argentina.
