Manchester City have agreed a deal with Lille for midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, sources have told ESPN.
The 18-year-old will move to the Etihad Stadium for €95 million ($111m) with another €5m ($5.8m) due in potential bonuses. He's set to sign a long-term contract until 2031, with the option of another year. It comes on the back of a stand-out World Cup campaign for Bouaddi after helping Morocco reach the quarterfinals.
City are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements after seeing Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Tijjani Reijnders leave this summer. Nico González could follow if Newcastle firm up their interest before the transfer deadline.
Elliot Anderson has already arrived in a £116m ($158m) deal from Nottingham Forest. There's also interest in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández while an enquiry about the availability of Adam Wharton has been knocked back by Crystal Palace.
City are also trying to reach an agreement with Palmeiras for 22-year-old Brazilian winger Allan.
