Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has warned Randal Kolo Muani he must rediscover his top form after expressing frustration with the French forward's lacklustre display against Frosinone.
Kolo Muani played all 90 minutes as Juve kicked off their Serie A campaign with a 1-0 win at Frosinone on Sunday, with Gleison Bremer scoring the only goal.
The France international, who rejoined from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, had just one shot on target from three attempts, much to Spalletti's disappointment.
"We went out and got him -- we nurtured him, and we know his true worth," Spalletti said of Kolo Muani to DAZN after Sunday's game.
"But he needs to realise that he hasn't played for two years -- and there's a reason for that.
"Sometimes you think you're at an exceptional level, but in reality, you've left something behind and need to go back and reclaim it."
Kolo Muani spent last season on loan at Tottenham but managed only one goal in 30 Premier League games as the north London club narrowly avoided relegation.
He had scored 10 times in 22 appearances during his loan spell with Juve in the second half of the 2024-25 season.

"He knows how to hold up the ball and find space, and he is physically strong, but these are matches where he needs to deliver goals,"· Spalletti said. "The spaces were all there for him to exploit."
Against Frosinone, Juve had 19 shots, just five on target and found the net just once. Spalletti confirmed that Juve, who finished sixth in Serie A last season, are on the market for another centre forward to strengthen the squad.
"We are also looking for someone with different characteristics," he said.
