Arsenal have completed the deadline-day signing of France defender Élisa De Almeida from Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite doing much of their business early in the window, Arsenal moved late to complete the signing of De Almeida before Thursday's 11 p.m. deadline.

Arsenal have been targeting a centre-back for much of this window, looking to bolster their defence having strengthened in attack, added midfielders and two more goalkeepers to their ranks.
De Almeida made 154 appearances and scored three goals during her five-year spell at PSG. She won the Coupe de France in her first season and again in 2023-24, establishing herself as a composed and reliable defender.
A 52-cap France international, the 28-year-old has represented France at the 2023 Women's World Cup and Women's Euro 2025. She was also part of the side that finished runners-up in the 2024 UEFA Nations League.
"I'm so excited to join Arsenal," De Almeida said as part of Arsenal's announcement. "This is a very big club and I can't wait to get started. I grew up watching Arsenal and seeing French players wear this jersey, so I'm proud to take this step. I'm looking forward to playing in front of our supporters and experiencing the special atmosphere they have created."
Arsenal head coach Renée Slegers added: "We're very pleased to add Élisa to our squad. Her composure, mobility and experience are all strengths in her game and I look forward to working with her on the training pitch."
De Almeida featured in PSG's Champions League qualifier on Wednesday evening and returned a 6-2 (on aggregate) win, earning them a place in the league phase.
