Mohamed Salah continued his impressive start at Trabzonspor in Sunday's 5-0 Süper Lig win over Gençlerbirliği to fuel the club's domestic and European ambitions.
The Egyptian forward converted a penalty before assisting teammate Ernest Muçi in Trabzonspor's fourth goal.
Salah, who joined the Turkish club this summer on a two-year contract following his exit from Liverpool, has four goals and one assists in four league games.
Trabzonspor coach Hüseyin Çimşir highlighted his team's potential after the game.
"I'm extremely pleased with the squad's determination and desire," he said. "We've got a genuinely high-quality squad. It's a long league marathon, and I believe this city, together with this team, is heading down a path where dreams can be realised. I believe Trabzonspor will be aiming for the top in all three competitions [Süper Lig, Conference League and Turkish Cup] this season.
"I'm not selling this as a pipe dream to anyone. But because I have faith in this team, I think they'll make this dream a reality. I don't know if it will happen or not, but I'm certain that these players, this team, will be in the running for the top in all three competitions."

Trabzonspor, who last lifted the league title in the 2021-22 campaign, won the Turkish Cup last season and finished third in domestic competition under head coach Fatih Tekke.
They parted company with Tekke last month after missing out on qualification for this season's Europa League following a 5-0 aggregate loss to Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
Trabzonspor also strengthened their squad this summer with the arrival of former Liverpool midfielder Fabinho as a free agent.
