Harry Kane joined an elite goalscoring club on Thursday after extending his remarkable Champions League streak.
Kane scored Bayern Munich's second goal in their 5-0 rout of Bodo/Glimt, meaning he has now scored in eight consecutive Champions League games.
The only players to achieve as long as a streak in the competition are Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Ronaldo holds the record with goals in 11 consecutive matches in 2017-18, while he also scored in eight straight for Real Madrid in 2013-14. Lewandowski also had two streaks -- of nine -- for Bayern Munich while Van Nistelrooy scored in nine straight for Manchester United in 2002-03.
Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies also netted on Thursday before a late double from Michael Olise helped Bayern kick off their Champions League campaign in style.
Kane scored 71 goals in 61 games for club and country last year and is the bookies' favourite to become England's first Ballon d'Or winner since Michael Owen at the ceremony in London next month.

Kane has been nominated alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi.
"I'm proud to be nominated with my teammates," Kane said after the game.
"We won all three titles in Germany and fell just short in the Champions League. But it's out of my hands and down to the voters. It was a special season personally, but all I can do is focus on this season now."
