Taylor Swift has signed for a club in the 10th tier of the English football pyramid and has already scored a goal.
But it's not the pop music superstar who is more accustomed to Wembley Stadium.
Instead, the arrival of a male striker with the same name to Widnes Town has caused a stir on social media.
"You read that correctly, no typos here... Taylor Swift signs for Widnes Town," the club confirmed.
"I'm sure this is the start of a great Love Story."
Days earlier, Swift -- wearing the No. 10 shirt -- scored the opening goal in a 2-2 draw with New Mills on his debut.
Striker Swift, with 140 Instagram followers, has approximately 272 million less than the musician of the same name.
