Jude Bellingham has been crowned England men's player of the year for the second time in a row.
Bellingham scored seven goals at the 2026 World Cup and broke the record for the most goals scored at a single World Cup by an Englishman.
Although England fell to an agonising semifinal defeat against Argentina at this summer's tournament, Bellingham was instrumental in ensuring the Three Lions recorded their best ever finish at a World Cup on foreign soil -- as they secured third place following a 6-4 win over France in the third place playoff match.
Bellingham famously scored a brace in England's chaotic 3-2 win over Mexico in the round of 16, before scoring a double again against Norway in the quarterfinal.
"It feels great," Bellingham said of the award which was voted for by fans. "Obviously, a huge honour to be recognised by the fans again.
"It's not something you think about when you play for your country, but it's obviously a beautiful little addition to the great summer we had."

England head coach Thomas Tuchel praised the Real Madrid midfielder upon the news of his award.
"I think he was one of the players of the tournament, not only for us but for the whole tournament. He lived up to his full potential; you could just see what a competitor and what a machine he is," he said.
"He just thrives under pressure, he just loves these moments, he loves these stages and it brings out the very best in him."
England will take on world champions Spain in a heavyweight clash at Wembley Stadium on Saturday in the UEFA Nations League, before facing Croatia and Czechia twice in their remaining fixtures.
