Manchester City women's manager Andreé Jeglertz insists it's "business as usual" at the club as they prepare to face Real Madrid in the Women's Champions League on Thursday.
Jeglertz's team have made an outstanding start to the WSL season with four wins from four, while they drew their opening Champions League match at Bayern Munich last week.
But the pre-match press conference focus was on the furore around the club after the Premier League found them guilty of over 100 breaches of Premier League financial rules.
The Premier League this week issued a statement finding the men's Manchester City team guilty in relation to "all charges related to serious breaches of the Premier League's financial rules" between 2009 and 2018. City have until Friday to lodge an appeal against the verdict.
Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano has since issued a statement calling the guilty verdict against the club a result of a "Premier League conspiracy theory" but while the storm continues to rage around City, the women's team have a crucial Champions League match on Thursday evening.
Talking on the eve of the match, City's women's head coach Jeglertz said it is "business as usual" at the club as they prepare for Real Madrid.
"We have been training like normal, we have been doing what we can affect and that's preparation for the game tomorrow and taking care of the last result we had in the weekend, and so on and so on," Jeglertz said.

"We haven't changed anything, we just keep on doing everything we normally do."
Jeglertz says the team do not have any more information than what's been presented to the public. "We can't talk about it -- we don't need to talk about anything else at the moment."
Former City men's coach Pep Guardiola has since issued his unequivocal support to the club, and Jeglertz says his mind is solely on the job in hand. "I'm working [at] this club now, and that's definitely what I'm hired for and working with, for sure."
He added: "Of course for me the most important thing is to live in the here and now. That means that my job at the important is to prepare the team for the coming game, take care of the everyday environment -- what is happening around us, I can't do anything about that, I can't effect that -- it's not effecting me at the moment."
Manchester City's Jade Rose was asked about the club's tricky week and said: "You create a bubble -- we're here to focus on the football and play football. That's at the forefront of our minds."
