Commentary
Responding strongly to their opening setback, Spain stroll to a 4-0 victory over Group H rivals Saudi Arabia, with a stunning three-goal blitz inside the first half-hour all but sealing maximum points. Teenage star Yamal scored his first World Cup goal from close range, via an assist from Oyarzabal - who took so much criticism for his showing in the 0-0 draw with Cape Verde - and that stirred the Real Sociedad striker into life. Oyarzabal then clinically found the net twice himself, before clipping the crossbar and missing another gilt-edged chance to bag a World Cup hat-trick. With the job essentially done, La Roja boss De La Fuente then took both men off at half-time, and his team only added one more goal after the interval. The unfortunate Al Tambakti bundled the ball into his own goal, following one of several Al Owais saves, and Spain cruised to the finish line from there. Late on, Oyarzabal's replacement Ferran Torres saw a close-range strike chalked off by the VAR, but that will matter little in the final analysis. Spain now move top of Group H on four points - with Saudi Arabia remaining on one - before they face Uruguay in a mouthwatering contest next week. While well beaten by the better side today - posting just 0.04 xG to Spain's 2.85 - the Green Falcons can still progress. However, they'll surely need to defeat Cape Verde on the final matchday. That's all from Atlanta, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
FULL-TIME: SPAIN 4-0 SAUDI ARABIA
There are only a few seconds remaining of the six stoppage-time minutes indicated. Spain may have been denied a late fifth goal, but they can be content after a consummate attacking performance today.
GOAL RULED OUT! Following a lengthy VAR check for offside, Spain's fifth goal is chalked off! Ferran Torres was apparently a whisker beyond the last defender when played through to score from close range. It stays 4-0 to La Roja in Atlanta!
Ferran Torres turns home from no more than eight yards out after a lovely move involving Pino and Fabian Ruiz, which was followed by a perfectly measured cross from Porro. However, the VAR has stepped in to analyse it more closely - could he be offside?

Saudi Arabia boss Donis uses his final change: Nasser Al Dawsari makes way for Al Ghannam.
