The moment we were all waiting for finally arrived Thursday night as the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers met for Game 1 of the NBA Finals for the third consecutive year.
After a competitive first half, the Warriors pulled away in the third quarter and left the Cavs in the dust. It was the perfect opportunity for those on social media to express their opinions. Quite a few NFL players were tuned in.

Kevin Durant put on a show in his first Finals appearance since the 2011-12 season, when he lost in five games to LeBron James and the Miami Heat as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He joined the Warriors over the offseason, preparing for this very moment. And he took full advantage, scoring 38 points, dishing out eight assists and grabbing eight boards in the victory.
KD is on a mission !!!!

Stephen Curry also brought his A game. He had 28 points, including 6 3-pointers, 10 assists and 6 rebounds on the night. Oh, and he took a moment to put his kicking skills on display. Well, kind of.
