Fantasy Women's Basketball
News: 4 days agoMitchell generated 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one assist in Saturday's 109-91 preseason victory over New York.
Spin: Mitchell looked every bit the All-WNBA First Team performer she was last season, taking over in the second quarter when the Liberty briefly grabbed the lead. The 30-year-old re-signed on a one-year, $1.4 million supermax deal this offseason and should operate as Indiana's top scoring option alongside Caitlin Clark.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Mitchell has increased her level of production every year since entering the league in 2018, and in 2025 she averaged a career-high 20.2 points per game along with 3.4 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 2.5 threes over 31.4 minutes. She also played in all 44 regular-season games and in all eight postseason games, and Mitchell and Jackie Young both took on larger roles for the second half of the regular season after Caitlin Clark was shut down due to a groin injury. The trio of Mitchell, Clark and Aliyah Boston figure to be the core players for the Fever in 2026 after the team retained all three of them during the offseason.
