News: 7 days agoNurse agreed to a contract with Toronto on Monday, Chelsea Leite of The IX Sports reports.

Spin: Nurse will receive a fresh opportunity with the Tempo after averaging 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 44 appearances a season ago in Chicago. She'll presumably have a chance to establish a key role within the Toronto rotation following Monday's signing and will join Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes in a talented backcourt.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Nurse served mainly as a starter in three of her first four WNBA seasons, but she's had to settle for a part-time starting role across the past three years. The 30-year-old has had relatively consistent production across those three seasons despite playing for three different teams in Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago, averaging 6.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.6 minutes per game. Availability hasn't been a concern for Nurse, who has appeared in every regular-season game in three consecutive seasons, and she's able to contribute in multiple areas. She's a somewhat high-floor, low-ceiling fantasy option that should be considered with late-round picks in most fantasy formats, but managers should be prepared to use her as a streaming option, especially if she's used as a part-time starter once again following her unrestricted free agency this offseason.
