ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bueckers, one of the most highly-touted prospects in WNBA history, may have somehow exceeded expectations while putting together her impressive rookie resume in 2025. In her Aug. 20 performance versus the Sparks, Bueckers tied the single-game rookie scoring record with 44 points and even became the first player in league history to score at least 40 points while shooting at least 80 percent from the floor. She even led all guards with a 20.3 efficiency rating on the year, averaging 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 33.3 minutes per tilt through 36 regular-season games on her way to running away with the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year award. Entering 2026, Bueckers will be trying to take another step forward on a Wings team without serious competition for usage, especially if Arike Ogunbowale signs elsewhere in free agency.
