Fam is a high-upside big and will join a rebuilding Storm team that lost Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins and Gabby Williams during the offseason, but the team retained Ezi Magbegor and Dominique Malonga, who was selected No. 2 overall last year and is also a highly talented frontcourt player with overseas experience. Malonga took some time to carve out consistent minutes last season, but Fam could have more immediate chances to step up given the team's departures during the offseason, though the Storm also have Stefanie Dolson as a capable option to handle minutes if the team wants to bring Fam along slowly. Fam has a versatile offensive skill set with decent defensive prowess, and she has the potential to provide strong fantasy value early in her career.
