ESPN Fantasy Projection: Following two seasons with the Liberty, Vandersloot returned to Chicago in 2025. The 37-year-old improved upon her 2024 results early in the 2025 campaign, averaging 10.6 points, 5.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game over her first seven appearances before suffering a season-ending torn ACL. Vandersloot is one of the league's all-time leading passers, ranking second on the all-time assists leaderboard, behind only Sue Bird. However, her output has declined slightly in recent years, as she's averaged just 5.0 assists per game over the past two seasons. Vandersloot has expressed that she fully intends to return to the Sky despite being an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026 season, and while she should have an opportunity to maintain a starting role in Chicago, she doesn't have quite as much fantasy upside as she did earlier in her career.
