ESPN Fantasy Projection: Copper missed the first month of last season after undergoing offseason knee surgery, and it really wasn't until around midseason that she was ready to take on a full workload. Her overall numbers dipped after a career season in 2024, but Copper still produced strong averages of 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.9 minutes per contest across 28 regular-season appearances. The minutes per game were the 31-year-old's fewest since the early part of her career, but there should be plenty of optimism that Copper will have no restrictions to open 2026 after she averaged 34.2 minutes per game during Phoenix's playoff run. The Mercury have several boxes to check off this offseason if they want to bring back the core that carried them to the 2025 WNBA Finals, and they'll likely set their sights toward re-signing Copper as an unrestricted free agent once they negotiate with Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally.
