ESPN Fantasy Projection: After a breakout season in 2023 in which Sutton averaged 8.2 points, 4.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game across 40 regular-season appearances (12 starts) with the Mercury, Sutton took a step back in 2024 while playing for Phoenix and Washington. However, she bounced back in 2025 following a full offseason with the Mystics, and she averaged 7.4 points, 3.9 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 26.1 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter. The 27-year-old will have another change of scenery this year after being selected by the Fire in the second round of the WNBA Expansion Draft. Sutton should be in the mix for meaningful minutes with Portland, but the Fire selected several other promising guards, so she carries some fantasy risk heading into 2026, especially if the team adds additional backcourt options in free agency.
