News: 2 days agoClark posted 21 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 11-13 FT), four assists, two rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes during Thursday's 95-80 preseason loss to the Wings.
Spin: After a poor shooting performance in Indiana's preseason opener, Clark bounced back with an aggressive and efficient effort Thursday. If the superstar point guard gets to the charity stripe more in 2026, she could be even more lethal offensively. However, Clark attempted double-digit free throws only four times in her first two WNBA seasons, so this type of production may not carry over to the regular season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Groin and ankle injuries ruined Clark's 2025 campaign, limiting her to just 13 appearances. There was optimism that she'd be able to return for the stretch run, but the ankle problem Clark picked up during her recovery from the groin issue may have caused the Fever to err on the side of caution and shut down their franchise centerpiece ahead of the postseason. Although Clark's lack of availability may have been disappointing, her results on the court in her second season were superb. The 24-year-old superstar averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 31.1 minutes per game a year ago, which placed her in the top five in fantasy points per game, and Clark is entering the new year with a clean bill of health after representing the United States in the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
