Crossan with 2 TDs, New Hampshire beats Albany (NY) 24-14
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Dalton Crossan ran for two touchdowns to lead New Hampshire to a 24-14 victory over Albany on Saturday night.
Crossan had two scoring runs from the 1, and finished with 111 yards on 22 carries. Sean Goldrich was 32 of 51 for 301 yards passing with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Powell for New Hampshire (6-4, 4-3 Colonial Athletic Association), which has won three straight.
Elliot Croskey and Neven Sussman had touchdown runs, and Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks ran for 86 yards on 13 carries to lead Albany (3-7, 2-5).
The Wildcats led 10-0 when Croskey ran for an 8-yard touchdown to cap a 10-play, 85-yard drive to pull the Great Danes to 10-7. The Wildcats answered on back-to-back offensive series. Crossan ran for a score, and Goldrich threw his TD pass to make it 24-7 early in the fourth quarter. Sussman bullied in from the 1 with ten minutes left.
