Morgan State beats Delaware State 26-6
DOVER, Del. -- Moses Skillon threw one touchdown and ran for another as Morgan State rolled over Delaware State 13-6 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Saturday.
Skillon had 143 yards passing for the Bears (2-2, 2-0). He also rushed for 61 yards, including a 32-yard scoring run late in the third quarter. Orlando Johnson finished with 124 yards and a touchdown.
A pair of Chris Moller field goals gave Morgan State a 6-0 lead early in the third quarter. Esayah Obado responded for Delaware State with a touchdown pass to Malik Golson but the extra point was missed.
With Morgan State up 13-6 late in the fourth quarter, Skillon hit Lamont Brown for an 11-yard score to make it 19-6. Delaware State fumbled on the ensuing kickoff and the Bears recovered, setting up a touchdown run by Johnson four plays later.
Obado threw for 137 yards and a touchdown for the Hornets (0-4, 0-1).
