Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy will dress out and is expected to play in Saturday night's game vs. Charlotte, coach Pete Golding told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Lacy had been listed as questionable heading into Saturday's game (7:45 p.m. ET, ESPN2) after the junior tailback suffered a thigh bruise in the Rebels' season-opening win vs. Louisville.
Golding said Lacy could see limited snaps against the 49ers.
Lacy rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts in the 41-38 victory against Louisville. He broke out with 1,567 rushing yards, third most nationally, and 24 touchdowns in his first season with the Rebels in 2025.
In addition, Golding said linebacker Keaton Thomas also is expected to play vs. Charlotte after suffering an ankle injury vs. Louisville.
No. 9 Ole Miss hosts No. 8 LSU next week in Lane Kiffin's return to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford.
