LSU standout Trey'Dez Green, widely regarded as one of the top tight ends in the country, is poised to return to action against Auburn on Saturday after missing the previous three games with a leg injury.
Green was not listed on Wednesday's SEC availability report, signaling that he is on track to participate. A source told ESPN's Pete Thamel that Green is expected to play.
The 6-foot-7 junior has 14 catches for 222 yards and one touchdown in three games this season.
Last season, the Louisiana native was selected to the All-SEC team.
He is already the school record holder for touchdown receptions by a tight end (12).
Green was on the John Mackey Award preseason watch list.
