Kentucky is poised to get its leading rusher back versus Vanderbilt on Saturday, but the Wildcats will be without a top receiving target.
Running back CJ Baxter, who missed last weekend's win over Oklahoma because of an injury, was removed from Thursday's SEC availability report, signaling he will be available to play.
The former Texas transfer has rushed for 484 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
But the Wildcats will be without another key transfer, wide receiver Nic Anderson, who was downgraded to out for the game.
Anderson, who previously played at Oklahoma and LSU, is third on the team in receptions (17) and receiving yards (197).
Kentucky has been one of the biggest surprises in college football this season.
First-year coach Will Stein has led the Wildcats, who were picked to finish 14th in the SEC during the preseason, to a 6-1 record, the No. 12 ranking in the Associated Press poll and tied for first place in the conference.
