ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Rangers announced on Monday the foot injury that landed outfielder Ryan Rua on the disabled list Saturday has been diagnosed as a fracture of the right heel.
Rua will be in a walking boot for three weeks.
The club also announced that right-handed pitcher Lisalverto Bonilla, transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list on Saturday, will have Tommy John surgery Friday.
