Unless you've been living under a Wi-Fi free rock, you are more than well aware that the Presidential election season is upon us. And while many of you have already made up your mind on who you're supporting, some of you perhaps have been waiting to hear who Ronda Rousey will be endorsing before making your decision.
Well, rest easy, America. In an interview with Maxim magazine, the UFC champ announced which candidate she is supporting. While some have previously speculated Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, it turns out Rousey is feeling the 'Bern.
That's right. She's voting for Vermont senator and Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders.
"I'm voting for Bernie Sanders, because he doesn't take any corporate money," Rousey told Maxim. "I don't think politicians should be allowed to take money for their campaigns from outside interests."
Going on to explain she would not be voting for Clinton if Sanders lost during the Democratic primary, she said she would likely vote for a third-party candidate in such a scenario. She backed this fact by explaining she voted for -- wait for it -- Roseanne Barr in 2012.
"I voted for Roseanne last time," Rousey said. "Mostly I went in to vote for all the state and local things. I was so unimpressed with the whole presidential campaign that I picked whatever third party I saw, and I saw Roseanne and thought, 'That's awesome.' But I'm really pulling for Sanders this time. I hope it works out."
I don't know about you, but I think Sanders/Rousey 2016 has a REALLY nice ring to it.
