ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- With rounds of 71 and 74, Luke Donald missed the cut at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill on Friday, marking the first time that the former world No. 1 has missed two consecutive cuts at a major in his career.
Former PGA champions Y.E. Yang, Padraig Harrington, Davis Love III and Rich Beem also missed the 36-hole cut, which came at 3 over.
Other former major champions to miss the cut were Bubba Watson, Tom Watson and Ernie Els.
Woody Austin, who was assessed a four-shot penalty on Friday, two shots each for the two holes on which he exceeded the 14-club limit, missed the cut by one shot.
