SEATTLE -- Arizona Cardinals left guard Mike Iupati left Sunday night's game against Seattle in an ambulance after suffering a neck injury while making a block in the second quarter.
Iupati was taken to a Seattle-area hospital for further evaluation, according to a Cardinals spokesman, after being down on the field for about 10 minutes while medical personnel attended to him with 9:16 remaining in the second quarter.
After being strapped to a backboard, Iupati was put on a stretcher and into an ambulance that was brought onto the field.
Iupati was in the Cardinals' locker room after the 39-32 victory and was traveling back to Arizona with the team.
The Cardinals said a few minutes after the play that Iupati had a neck injury but had feeling and movement in his extremities when he left the stadium. The team later said a CT scan and MRI at the hospital both came back normal.
The crown of Iupati's helmet collided with Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor's helmet while Iupati pulled on a run by Chris Johnson.
Earl Watford replaced Iupati at left guard.
