PITTSBURGH -- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was knocked out of his team's 45-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth quarter Sunday due to a neck and shoulder injury that will be examined Monday.
"[Hasselbeck will] be evaluated [Monday]," coach Chuck Pagano said. "He should be OK."
Hasselbeck injured his shoulder in the first quarter and then hurt his neck when he went to the ground after center Jonotthan Harrison was pushed into him in the second half.
"I got cut underneath my legs and lost my legs," Hasselbeck said. "I got hit on the top of the head and kind of just got my head compressed into my neck."
Hasselbeck's injuries added to his worst performance starting in place of injured starter Andrew Luck. Hasselbeck, who is 4-1 as a starter, was only 16-of-26 for 169 yards with a touchdown, two interceptions and a lost fumble.
Hasselbeck was replaced by Charlie Whitehurst with the Colts trailing 38-10 with about six minutes left in the game.
