Gabriel Jesus has said he was made to train alone at Arsenal this summer as the club sought to move him on during the transfer window.
The Brazil international joined Barcelona on the final day of the transfer window in a deal worth up to €15 million (£12.85m) on a three-year contract.
The forward spent four years in north London, where he scored 32 goals in 123 appearances. He was a peripheral figure last season and made just three league starts in their title-winning campaign.
He featured in all four pre-season games for the Gunners before being eventually being sidelined.
"The truth is, I was training, I did the entire preseason normally with Arsenal, and I already knew that, probably, I wouldn't play as much or wouldn't have as many opportunities. But nobody told me anything," Jesus told SportyTV.
"I'm a professional, obviously I was training with the group, and out of nowhere they put me to train apart from the group."

"I was doing my maximum [in training] to be ready, in case I got the chance to play at a high level again, and then in the last week [everything happened] very quick," he added.
The 29-year-old wasn't in Arsenal's matchday squads for their opening Premier League matches against Coventry City and Aston Villa, before a move to Barcelona materialised towards the end of the window.
"The work of Deco, the president [of Barcelona], and the club ... My agent was amazing. When we were sure that I had the opportunity to come, obviously I said yes straight away, no matter what. Now I'm so happy to be here," he said.
Jesus made his debut for the Catalan club at the Mestalla on Sunday in a 5-0 drubbing.
