Bayern Munich's Ballon d'Or nominees Michael Olise and Luis Díaz have leant their backing to fellow shortlisted player Harry Kane to win the award.
The German giants have four players nominated for the most prestigious prize in the men's game, with Dayot Upamecano also on the list.
In a video posted by the club on Instagram asking players why Kane should take it, Olise replied: "Because he was the best player last season."
Kane hit 61 goals in all competitions last season, including 36 in the Bundesliga and a hat-trick in the DFB Pokal final.
Díaz praised Kane's all-round play, which further supplements his remarkable goalscoring.
"He does everything. [He] attacks, defends, assist," the Colombia international said. "He was one of the top scorers in the whole world last season.
"That's why I think he deserves it. 100%. He always wants more, refuses to settle, and he helps you as a teammate to grow."
Bayern stalwart Joshua Kimmich added: "Apart from the goals, he's incredibly important for the team.

"The most important thing is that the team wins, and he always wants to help with goals. If we're already winning 3-0 and he isn't scoring, that isn't a reason for him to be unhappy.
The belief that Kane was the best player from the Bundesliga last season is not universal, however.
Thierry Henry explained that Kylian Mbappé should be the winner of the award -- with Olise second place in his estimation.
"I think this year is a bit more complicated ... Harry Kane, it's not me, but the best player in Germany last year was Michael Olise," Henry said.
