Real Madrid coach José Mourinho was keen to point out after his side's win over Leipzig that his team will have 24 hours less rest than Sunday's rivals Barcelona heading into the Clásico.
Madrid won 4-1 over the German outfit in Wednesday's Champions League while Barça fell 4-2 at Paris Saint-Germain a day earlier.
Asked if Madrid's decisive midweek win was a big boost in confidence ahead of the encounter at the Camp Nou, Mourinho told Movistar: "For the Clásico, there's no room for complacency. It's just another league match, yet it's unlike any other.
"We're pushing ahead. At the moment, we're missing out on 24 hours of rest, but we're moving forward."
Madrid are third in LaLiga, six points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
While Mourinho was satisfied with Wednesday's performance, he says there's plenty of room for improvement, especially defensively, Madrid have kept only two clean sheets in their opening 12 games in all competitions.
"No, nothing is where I want it to be," he said in his post-game news conference. "I always want to improve. I've been here for over a hundred days. "Obviously, we are not where I want, but there are things we are doing better today than before... We are improving.
"The goal we conceded I didn't like because I put myself in the goalkeeper's position. [Thibaut] Courtois made two incredible saves that kept the game open for us to win. Just as a striker loves scoring goals, a goalkeeper loves going home with a clean sheet.

"The goal we conceded today and the one against Sevilla [in Sunday's 4-1 win,] came from being overconfident and from someone thinking the game was already won. I don't like that."
While Mourinho did not name the player at fault, in both of the goals conceded by Madrid in the last two games, video replay showed that defender Dean Huijsen was out of position.
