News: 3 days agoDugalic was selected by the Mystics with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft on Monday.

Spin: Dugalic will head to Washington along with college teammate, Lauren Betts, as both players were selected in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Draft. The Mystics are hopeful that Dugalic can provide solid shooting at the next level. She knocked down 50.2 percent of her field-goal attempts and 32.6 percent of her shots from downtown during her final year with the Bruins, and she's also shown that she's a capable defender along the perimeter.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Dugalic is a strong shooter and a versatile defender with size, but she could be brought along slowly as a rookie after being drafted by the Mystics with the No. 9 pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Dugalic joins a roster filled with young talent, including UCLA teammate Lauren Betts, who was drafted by Washington at No. 4 overall. After serving mainly as a starter during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons with the Bruins, she came off the bench in 35 of 38 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, but she remained productive, averaging a career-best 9.0 points to go with 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 23.8 minutes per game. Even if Dugalic is forced to come off the bench early in her WNBA career, she's proven that she can make an impact as a reserve, though her fantasy upside in 2026 may be limited.
