Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan will take to the skies Friday morning when he participates in a tandem parachute jump with the United States Army's Golden Knights parachute team.
Ryan's jump from a plane will be part of the Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Air Reserve Station's annual Thunder of Niagara Air Show involving the Air Force Reserve's 914th Airlift Wing.
The Golden Knights are one of three United States military-sanctioned aerial demonstration teams, along with the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds.
It's the latest instance of Ryan making his presence known in the region after being hired by the team in January. The former New York Jets coach quickly won over Bills fans by painting his truck with the Bills logo and having beers with franchise icon Jim Kelly at a well-known local bar.
